THE CANDIDATE.
Jade A. Davis is a junior political science major, with a minor in psychology, from Columbus, Ohio. Jade lives by the saying "If God is for you, who can be against you", and she displays that attitude through her work. Jade currently serves as the Senate President Pro-Tempore as a Senator-at-Large within the ASU Student Government Association. Jade also proudly serves as the chapter president of The Curve ASU: A women's empowerment organization dedicated to curving their campus, communities, and lifestyles through mentorship and service. As a student leader, Jade emphasizes advocacy, transparency, and community through her work. Her overall goal is to ensure that she can be a voice for the voiceless and an advocate for those who need one.

That's what we're setting at our university. Through endless tries to make a change and an impact, this is our time.
This position is not about image nor being in the spotlight. This position is about putting in the work, doing what's right, and not stopping when things get hard. Because of at the end of the day, I am a student, working on the behalf of all of us to leave our mark.
Through the good, the bad, and the ugly, we are yearning for a better Alabama State University; A university that advocates and works for all, is transparent and honest, and uses our resources and our network to elevate our environment. I will continue to make strides forward fighting for our students' mental health, student advocacy, and rightful treatment with administration and university departments.
Through us putting in the work, working together, and setting a new standard, we can make our mark at Alabama State University.
