The Pinkprint is more than a campaign- It's a standard, a lifestyle, and a legacy. Jade wants students to know that she is the student leader who truly advocates and cares for all of the students. Before the positions and titles, Jade is a student too, and she has experienced many of the same issues that students still experience.
Being a representative of student body takes more than being a face of the university. It takes being a communicator, a proponent, and a partner of all. It is time we be proactive, diligent, and persistent as a student body- the change starts now.

Advocacy
An advocate is defined as a person who helps others express their views, wishes, and stand up for their rights. A true advocate can be hard to come by, but Jade is committed to helping the student body at Alabama State University feel heard, cared for, and understood, and as SGA Vice President, she won't stop until that is accomplished.
Transparency
Many times leaders are hesitant to share and be honest with those who they're leading- whether it's with good or bad intentions. However, to properly execute our goals as a collective it is imperative to remain transparent and communicative because we are in this together, and students deserve to know what's going on with their university that they spend their money, time, and energy pouring into.
Enterprising
"An enterprising person is one who sees opportunity in all areas of life." -John Rohn. To be enterprising is to have the resourcefulness, initiative and drive to recognize opportunities, and the motivation to make the most of them. Jade plans to remain perseverant, resourceful, and consistent as a leader of the greatest student body there is, It is important to not dwell in unfortunate situations, but to navigate the experience in a meaningful way.
